poetry

Obviously there are thousands of beautiful poems in existence written by famous poets, but nothing comes close to a treasured piece of prose which relates to two people, with shared meaning. When I lost my mother there was no way on earth that I could have written a shopping list never mind poems for funeral tributes.

When you are assigned an analytical essay about a poem in an English class, the goal of the assignment is usually to argue a specific thesis about the poem, using your analysis of specific elements in the poem and how those elements relate to each other to support your thesis. Some of the best funeral poems only need to be read once for you to see your loved one in them, don't try to read too much into any one poem, you may just be forcing the verse into how others saw the deceased, the funeral poems should feel natural. Short and simple love poems work best for me.

Pick out a few personal things about that special person and write cute little lines about it. Identify the primary words to be used in the Poem. Poems can also help to understand how your partner feels about the relationship.

You must merely know where to look and what you want to say. Poetry can do amazing things.
